Information about the Aid Access Abortion Pill

  • It is completely legal for you to receive and use abortion pills in Idaho! Idaho’s   anti-abortion laws do not apply to your ordering, receiving, and taking the pill on your own!
  • The abortion pill is safe and effective up to 12 weeks from your last period.
  • You’ll receive 1 mifepristone tablet and 12 misoprostol tablets, plus all needed instructions.
  • Cost: Aid Access asks for $150 to cover the cost of the pill, shipping, etc.  But if you can’t afford that, they will reduce the price, even down to “free” if you are low-income.  Request that in your on-line ordering.
  • All pills are FDA approved medication.
  • In your on-line application, you’ll be submitting information for a medical consultation (tele-medicine).  Aid Access’s medical team will review it for the necessary response, safety, and care you need — and in almost all cases, have the pills in the mail to you right away.
  • It is mailed to your home address (or PO Box) in a plain envelope – nothing indicating “abortion.”
  • You can pay by credit card; your statement won’t indicate “abortion”
  • On-line support and other information is done by email – all questions/concerns are answered within 24 hours, with a 24/7 back-up 800 phonecall for any complications or other serious issues.
  • It takes 30 minutes to order the pills online; your pills will arrive in less than a week.
  • Under 18? No problem!  Even though Idaho requires “parental consent” for other abortions, if you are 13 and older, Aid Access will confidentially send you the abortion pill to your home or, if needed, to another address.  See our “Under 18” section on our main page for other options and help.
